Hi. I am trying to center rasters on my vph1271q. Accoring to the article by Guy Kuo, "centering the raster is performed by use of centering magnets on the CRT necks just behind the deflection yokes." In case of 1271Q, I see only Dy, sub Dy, and Mg (2 and 4 poles). Is this mean that I can use Dy to center rasters? In the service manual, Dy is used to adjust display inclination after changing tubes. I like to have a clear understanding on this before I start.

Thanks.

There are no centering magnets on these projectors. Raster centering is done using the electronic Zone controls. The initial adjustment for the raster centering should be performed with no signal connected to the projector.
