I am new to Playstaytion, so new to this franchise, but I am very excited about this game. The movies looked great and the game looks like lots of fun.

Jiffylush.. go out and get the older R&C titles worth it. Just for the gameplay alone. If you are a "screen queen" someone who is more interested in graphics than game play..you might be disapointed. But having said that I've played all of the R&C on the PS2 and PSP, love the franchise..cant wait for this one to hit the PS3.

I am not a 'screen queen', in fact I was staring at Paper Mario for 4+ hours last night (I think it looks great).
I don't know if I have time to go back and make up time on the PS2 titles, I rented Katamari and liked it, might try GoW, but that will probably be about it. Too much time this summer watching movies and playing games I already have, not to mention vacations and going to the pool and stuff.

Not a thing wrong with the Previous R&C games..at least I dont think so. But there are those who feel differently about those...and about TOD too..

No Prob man, just wanted to know. Because I think the older R&C games looked good on PS2. However the one last version on PS2 focused a little to much on weapons. I want to go back to the original 1 & 2 days.
So hopefully this one delivers.

I don't own a PS3 and am trying to avoid the expense. So far, it's been easy. This game makes it more difficult. Loved the series on the PS2.
The series is awesome; go out and buy/rent the previous games.

IMO looks as good if not better than Kameo.
