When I view movies(ie Hellboy) there is a constant rattling which comes with the low frequency scenes. It is driving me nuts. It is a clanking like sound.

I called Klipsch. Customer service/tech support told me it was not normal but they offered no solution.

Is the sound from the passive radiators?

Am I stressing the sub? Is it too loud?

I set the gain at 0db and then set the sub at -7.0db on my receiver/pre-amp. SPL meter was used to set level at 78db(I know +3db hot)

Any Ideas?
