Due to some constraints in my room layout, I may need to have the following speaker layout:

Center: RC65i

L/R: RC60i (mounted in ceiling)

Surround: RC65i (mounted in wall)

This is different than what I originally planned, but would be more ideal from an installation perspective. Does anyone see any issues with this?

Thanks!

The front speakers are best mounted in-wall. You want the front sound facing the seating area. Using in ceilings for the front is a bad idea.

In ceilings work well as surrounds but NOT front speakers

Thanks! I think I can make it work with front speakers in front wall. However, the space behind the drywall is empty (no insulation) and drywall on the other side of the stud. Do I need to build an enclosure? I hear that in-walls may not need it.

For the matter, the in-ceiling speakers will have nothing but attic space above them with some blown-in insulation. Do these need some sort of enclosure?
