Hi,

I just installed my RCA 751 antenna and used the holes where my dish network was. Mount fit perfectly. However, when pointing the antenna to the correct location, I had to keep my largest antenna unlocked (see pics - the one top right). Now, as you can see, it isn't too far angled, but is it hurting my antenna performance a lot? If so, I can remount it, but I want to see if it makes any difference before making more holes.

Thank you,

Mike

OK, most of my channels have 50+ in reception quality (according to my tivo antenna signal strength).

Is that sufficient?

You only need a strong enough digital signal to consistently lock onto it and decode it. Anything higher won't improve picture quality. If you were getting dropouts on some channels, then you might want to move the mount away from the wall a bit.
