Is this thing going to ever come out? If it is already out (and I've not seen it), could someone enlighten me where they saw it for purchase?

Last I heard it was delayed till late Q3, Think xmas though. If RCA would sell it to me I'd take a prototype or a beta unit.

Wow, a whole year from its original forecast? I can only wonder what the difficulties are considering they weren't working from scratch.

It could be that they decided that they needed to change the design due to changes in the market place; like competition.

They may just be being fashionably late, as the Hughes E-86 was. Seriously I dare posit they are keeping an eye on the "robust 8-VSB" developments and rethinking firmware upgrade strategies.
