I am new to this HD stuff and i have the rca HD receiver and dish etc. and i was told that i need a rgb cable (male at both ends) to go from receiver to tv to get HD. now satellite guy told me i need rca converter box as rca doesnt have rgb, is this correct.?? and while Im on here, i was thinking about switching from the rca box to the panasonic box which i hear is better, any comments on this one also.

The RCA DTC100 does, indeed output RGBHV HDTV on its 15 pin VGA connector. If your display accepts VGA input for HDTV this will work. If your display has only component (Y, Pb, Pr) then you'll need an RGBHV to Y, Pb, Pr transcoder.
