Well it seems I am forced to do a swap out with RCA refurb. I had opened up my unit without any signs of intrusions. How can RCA know if I went in? There were no void stickers/break seal id on the unit. Anyone have stories about their return?
I sent one in to RCA that had been hit by lightning, using their $149 swapout program. I had gone in and swapped the power supply from another dead unit before sending it back (turned out that more than the power supply was fried). They didn't seem to care at all.
