New carpet being laid in the coming weeks. Will be replacing all wires and cables that are tucked under baseboards around perimeter. Running Denon X4400H using all three zones. Zone one and two are fine. Zone three speakers are about 60ft+ from Denon in next room. Is there any advantage in moving the 2ch amp into next room, and running an Rca that long back to the Denon? Or just a speaker wire run that long? I currently am using speaker wire. Could go either way, just a good time to do it and be done with it.

If the speakers are 8ohm, 14g will be ok out to about 80ft, but you’ll want to run 12g or thicker if pushing speakers that are 4-6ohm; and in that case 10-12g wire is recommended to prevent power loss at 75’.

Yes, 8Ohm Polk T50 towers on the sides of the desk in the "office" (front living room). Can probably keep it under 60ft if run well. Currently using old 18 gauge I had on hand to test out temporarily.

Looks like I’ll be okay with the 14ga speaker wire!

Yep. Have Cat6 run to the TV/Denon now. Will add another going the other way around the room. The worst part is taking down the pool table before the carpet, and putting back together. That's a job for a professional!

Just my thought....
If it's a slate table... taking it apart is easy. Putting it back together properly is definitely a job for a professional.

20 year old Brunswick, solid Maple, 4x8, 1" framed slate, claw and ball feet, also needs new cloth...NAH. Not like the old particle board table that I used to tear down and throw in the Chevelle and move around
