I need to re-cloth my speaker grill, what kind of adhesive do you use?


Does anyone have a good source of cloth they'd recommend? I saw some at Parts express is that any good?


Does anyone's cat think their tower speaker is a $600 scratching post?

Haha I believe there is a whole thread on that topic. Ive used the cloth at Partsexpress and its pretty good stuff. I used some spray adhesive and it seemed to work pretty well. I would search the DIY forum and see if anyone has pictures of how they did theirs.

I searched at a local fabric store for something black and suitable as speakergrill cloth- it was cheaper and faster tha waiting for as order. As for fastening the cloth- my grill covers are wood, so I just used a staple gun.

+1 on keeping all cat questions in that thread. word of warning though: its turning more into a cat debate than treating speakers. as on eother user mentioned there, im sure you could find a cat owener or pet forum that will get you better answers. the cat doesnt care that its a speaker.


that being said, you might want to poke your head in the thread here, at least for a few laughs if nothing else
