Im seeking advice on how to re-paint a 6mm sintra board with Rs-MaxxMudd . I want to try Silver Fire, I know sanding is involved just want proper advice to avoid any losses.

The sanding would be done to prep the surface, but only because you could perceive some unwanted texture.

The real determining factor to be made....what type & shade of Silver Fire do you think you want / need... then basing your next course of action around that. Usually the base of RS-MaxxMudd would not need to be re-primed.

Thanks MM for the advice. I'm planning to go with SF V2.5 N/C with UPW added. So no priming is needed after smoothing?

If it looks to be "very" light silvery Gray, you can proceed.

If you have any doubts though.....re-prime for the most security.
