I admit I am a complete newbie at HTPC, but after searching the forum
I still can't figure out exactly how (or if possible) to do this.
I inherited a large collection of VHS video tapes. I would like to watch
them on my Panny l300u using my PC as a video scaler to improve the
image. My video card is a Radeon 7500. So basically the question is how
can I do real time video processing on an analog signal from the s-video input on the radeon 7500.
I know about powerstrip to set the resolution for the l300u, I know about
ffdshow to filter the signal, but I can't figure out how to run the filter on
a raw analog video feed. I know there is no filtering options in the supplied
ATI TV program, I have tried virtualvcr which should allow me to do this, but I can't figure out how to get it to display in full screen, it seems to be limited to the size of the input video. I don't think (or haven't figured out how) Zoomplayer can actually use the video capture (s-video in) on the Radeon 7500. Has anybody actually come up with a good method of doing this??
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
