I really need some help deciding on this one.

I currently own a Panny PT-47WX42 TV (Rear Projection 480p/1080i) which is about 1.5 years old. I'm very pleased with this unit and have gotten many good hours of DVD viewing and HTPC Playing.

But I recently changed to an apartment and have limited space for the TV, specially on the width side, so my wife thinks it looks ugly sticking out of the current furniture so it’s the perfect opportunity to upgrade! :) (and sell my Panny to a friend )

The problem is I have a limited budget to upgrade (

Your panny fully calibrated would smoke both those sets handidly....

NO CONTEST.

I would just get it ISFED and touch up the geometry which is horrible out of the box.

Put the bars on the sides for 4:3 mode and you can see the red CRT is like and inch off .... terrible convergence and a lame 9 point user adjustment,

Learn to do the service mode convergence and Hire an ISF tech to calibrated it...

It's alot better TV than that cheap ass plasma.,... I've seen that in best buy and it sucks.

The LC12 is nice... but the black level really lacks for the price and missing pixels are a problem and not covered under warranty
