If Robert or anyone else at CES learns why Pioneer cancelled their press conference, I would be interested in hearing. Hopefully, the private showing to the Elite dealers like Robert will still take place.

This is a good question, someone should do research and let us know.

Unfortunately, it costs manufacturer's thousands of dollars a day to present their products at CES, depending on size of presentation booth. I know that Pioneer will display other products, but there is a reason why they have not committed to early to their technology. It could possibly be a financial move.

I don't know if you guys know it, but there's a strange PR at the Pioneer website about them outsourcing their panels, and some kind of teaming up by Sharp, a "mutual capitol investment". There could be more to it than that.
