They actually sound quite good for an inexpensive set.

I am going to use them to put together another HT system in my family room.

I will couple these with the Panny XR45 receiver. I am looking for a decent sub as well as another center rear surround speaker.

Any suggestions on the sub and extra speaker? Someone suggested the Sony wm500 sub.

I have the wm500, and it works good for HT if you're looking for a budget sub. You can find them for about $130 online. I stuffed it with polyfill (like many others have done on this forum) and that helped take away some of the boom. I'd also take a look at the Parts Express sub which is about $125. It's a downfiring ported 10" sub. There is a good review about the parts express and the wm500 on hometheaterforum.com Do a search for wm500.

Go to parts express and buy the Dayton 10" sub . It comes complete. It's tight and not boomy at all. It's part #300-632

I have the Fluance SX-HTB set as well. for a sixth speaker I'd take the existing center and use it as a sixth speaker. You can buy the AV-SC center it's got larger drivers and the dialogue is better.
