Receiver and general setup suggestions
I am currently in the process of building a new house. I am software developer by trade and in general a techy. However, I do not have a lot of experience with this home theater type build and the learning curve is pretty steep so I am asking you learned individuals for some equipment suggestions.
The basics:
I am looking to spend between 3-6k on the hardware which includes the receiver and speakers only. I will budget the TV separately.
1) All speakers must be in wall or ceiling. (Wife requirement)
2) Receiver must have the ability to do zones
3) Receiver needs to support network (wifi preferable)
I am looking towards klipsch speakers and a pioneer elite maybe the sc-72 although this is not in any way set in stone. Here is the room.
The red square is the TV. The blue circles are speakers. The two in the middle of the diagram will be in the ceiling roughly 20 feet up. These would be the surrounds.
