Hi, I just bought a pair of Infinity Alpha 40's on closeout, got a good$ and now I need a nice receiver to drive the low end and mid range hook ups separately as I don't plan on buying a subw at this time. I also bought an Alpha 2 way Center Channel and am searching for rear surrounds but want to am most interested in a 5.1 or 7.1 receiver for the Alpha 40's.

I'd check out Denon and Marantz for receivers. You should get Infinity for your surrounds as well - timber matched, if possible. Good luck with your selection and welcome to the forum.
