receiver for small den

My trusty old NAD receiver just expired...I have a small den 9' by 12' with built-in bookshelves which I want to use as my primary music-listening room. I currently have just a pair of small PSB bookself speakers. Can anyone recommend a quality, not-too-expensive receiver/speaker/cd player combination that would work well for a small room like this?

Why not get a new nad? I think it is the L53 that is the cd player/stereo receiver. You could keep the PSBs or go auditioning for new speakers (which is what i would do :p) LOL!
