Receiver recommendation for MartinLogan 4i and 8i speakers.

Hey all!

I'm highly interested in using MartinLogan 4i's for my fronts and surrounds. Additionally, I plan to use the 8i for my center. I know that these are 4ohm speakers. Does anyone have a receiver recommendation?

Potential Setup:
Front L/R: MartinLogin 4i's
Center: MartinLogan 8i
Rear L/R: MartinLogan 4i's
Sub: ?
Receiver: ?

Probably need budget constraints and requirements. Are you future proofing or just dipping your toes in the water?

However, w/o knowing the aforementioned, and off the top of my head, IMHO.

Receivers: Marantz SR, Denon X series, Yamaha

Subs: SVS 12" (good bang for the $), ML 12". If you have the finances and the room, I would highly recommend 2 subs.

Disclaimer: Be careful out there, you could take the wrong pill and fall down the HT rabbit hole.

Hey there!

I'm looking to keep the receiver under $1,000. I'm open to future proofing, but it's not necessary. I don't plan on changing my TV for at least five years, and it does not have HDMI 2.1 ports.

Regarding the sub, I'm looking for a 10" or smaller to ensure that it doesn't have a large footprint.

I'll be dedicating another room for theater purposes where I have my wife's permission for floor standing speaking and hugggeee subs. Haha
