I need something to power my Energy Take Classic 5.0 Speakers and Bic Acoustech H100 Sub. Need at least 3 hdmi Ins. Planning to connect my Dish DVR(Vip722), Xbox 360, PS3, Dell Studio Hybrid PC and Wii to it. Mostly will be used for playing games and watching Blurays/720p x264 movies.

I know its low but my budget is only $300, so maybe something refurbished if neccessary....

The Denon 1610/590 would be my pick followed by the HK 254 off eBay.

I have narrowed it down to these three:

Onkyo SR507

HK 254(refurb)

Pioneer VSX-819H-K

Which one should I go for? Any clear winners among the 3?

The 254 is IMO the best of the three with a better amp and a full 7 channels. When new it sold for more that either of the other two. While price does not make an AVR - its a general indicator of features and build quality.

The latest refurbished ones from Harman's ebay store seem to have very few problems.

The Onkyo and Pioneer are 5 channel AVRs - a 506 would cost less and give you 7 channels but the 254 will cost you only a little more and deliver much more.
