I am in the market for a new receiver; my budget is in the $600 range. My biggest need is 2 HDMI outputs; this seems to be a problem in my price range. 5:1 is fine, my theater is wired for 7:1 but don't have to have it.


I've searched online without nay luck needing 2 HDMI outs. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

It's not likely that you will be able to find a new AVR in your budget that has 2xHDMI outputs. You might want to look into purchasing a separate HDMI splitter (1xInput and 2xOutput) from companies such as Gefen. Note, however, that by the time you add the cost of a decent splitter, your total cost would then approach that of an AVR that does have 2 HDMI outputs!
