Hi,

I am considering buying this : http://ca.yamaha.com/en/products/audio-visual/hometheater-systems/home-theater-package/yht-3414/?mode=model

I have a question about the receiver : http://data.yamaha.jp/sdb/local/products/images/32614/12075/32614_12075_1.jpg

The receiver has component video monitor out (on the left of the picture).

I have a TV and a projector. The receiver will be used for the projector, cable TV etc...

My question is : can I send a 720p signal to my TV (using component out for cable TV) and, for exemple, watch a movie using HDMI out to the projector ? And do both at the same time ?

Would be awesome

Thanks !

You can't do both at the same time; you can use component out to your TV, and connect the projector using HDMI. But, the receiver can only be "set" on one input at a time. I'm not sure why you would want to have both at the same time, but you would need two receivers to accomplish this goal.
