Hi, I'm looking for purchase a receiver with a "nice" OSD/GUI that performs as an overlay and doesn't completely cut the video out to display the menu. I am only powering 2 speakers at the moment so the number of channels isn't a big concern; I just need a good amount of input options. I plan on controlling all of my components with the receiver so it is important to me that on-screen menu is visually appealing and user-friendly. Thanks in advance.

Harman Kardon's receivers have very nice GUIs. Adjustable transparency overlays, looks good. I would look at the 2600, 3600, or 7550.

Yamaha and HK have nice looking GUIs. I personally prefer HK's. The new Onkyo receivers are supposed to have nice GUIs.
