Receivers and Specs!

Hallo, I am happy to be here.

First I am not a professional on audio world (sound eng. etc), but a theology student that loves classical music.

For 15 days, I am trying to choose a receiver and I got caught within the specs numbers, DACs & ADCs, that I can see myself doing this decision based only on my auditioning tests. My local dealer has Marantz, Denon, Integra and NAD. Integra 7.3 has two 32 bits DSP chips, and MArantz 7300 just one 24 bits. So is Integra better than Marantz?

My tests said me that: in an live recording with Chicago Symp. Orch. Integra put the soun back on studio, but MArantz was more accoustical.

I am sure lost on all those numbers... Help
