Receiver's processing sound

Checking the specs of Denon 3803 and Marantz 7300 or 8200 I saw Denon with FPU 32 bit (dual) and Marantz 7300 with a single 24 bit, and the 8200 with 2dual 24 bit. OK, what does that mean? Denon is a better receiver because of this? Get very hard sometimes to decide based on specs. That's why I need help.

Generally dual chip processing is better (potentially) but the resulting sound product is an individual thing. By comparison, some equipment with higher performance specs in one area may not deliver as pleasing a sound as a competitor with lesser specs due to many other items in the delivery chain. Don't be overly-worried about the specs race...where possible, let your ears be the guide.
