I'm looking to upgrade my H/K 240 to a receiver the has better room corrections.I am limited to speaker and sub placement so hoping that a receiver with an updated correction will help. This will be strictly for movies with a Blue Ray player hooked up.

Plenty to choose from. Onkyo and Denon use Audyssey room calibration although the Denon version is better than what Onkyo uses on the 608, RC260, SR508 and below.

Yamaha uses YPAO and Pioneer uses MCACC which will all be better than what your currentl HK provides.

Several receivers under $400 that will meet your requirements.

Thanks for the reply.

Looks like I will start looking at Denon and Pioneer first.
