Anyone know of a card that will ouput coaxial digital PCM or AC3/DTS (PCM is the real problem) while reclocking the bitstream to remove jitter?

The Audiophile 24/96 that is recommended on this forum has a very low amount of jitter.

If you wanted to go even further I would think the best solution would be an external box (jitter-fixer)

Andy,

do you think the internal connection between CD/DVD drive and the card will affect Jitter, and will the player have a major influence or does the 24/96 card have an 'incoming buffer'.

Matt,

The M Audio Delta series soundcards use a dedicated S/PDIF encoder/line driver chip that clocks the digital bitstream.
