recommendation needed:Stereo or AV receiver?Yamaha R-S500/700 vs RX-V 661/2400
Hi guys,
I am setting up a new system in my small bedroom for music and movie from my laptop and classical music from turntable Audio Technica AT-LP60. I bought Philharmonic Affordable Accuracy bookshelf and Dayton sub-1000. I don't know which receiver to buy with budget around 200.
I am not considering home theater in the near future. So stereo receiver/integrated amps&DAC Vs. AV receiver,which is better? Is stereo receiver worth the money in this price range? I found used Yamaha RX-V 661/2400 for around 180$ and a4l has R-S500 for 280$. Anything else to recommend? Thank you in advance for any suggestion!
