Recommendations on a backdrop curtain that won't break the bank?

I want to put up a black curtain behind my projector screen that will occupy my front wall (8ft high x 12ft wide). Can anyone recommend an affordable product or DIY solution? It will be purely cosmetic-I don't need to absorb sound, although that would be a plus...my room is already treated. Thanks!
