I have been searching on the internet to buy a 60GB or 80GB hard drive to upgrade one of my Replays. The best prices I have found so far are from STR8BUY.com. $110 for Seagate or Maxtor 60GB 5400rpm drives. Has anyone purchased from them or found a better deal?

Go to Newegg........they have Maxtor 5400 rpm's at 99 bucks for the 60 gigs and 145 bucks for the 80 gigs.


Very reputable, I've ordered many things from them in the past.

I've bought from Newegg before. their prices are quite good and the service is outstanding. Just watch the shipping prices. If you have any doubt about their reputation, check out their reseller ratings at http://www.resellerratings.com/cgi-b...cgi?Newegg.com and the customer comments.


I just bought the Maxtor 80GB HDD from Dell for $155.12 when they had their 20% off sale. Once Newegg gets it back in stock, I'm going to use my Amex Best Value Guarantee to get the $10.12 back after matching the Newegg price. Thanks for the heads up!
