Recommended 42" or 50"
Candidates:
Maxent 50X3 or Vizio 50
Westinghouse 42" 1080p
Mostly SD and HDTV/DVD, and quite a bit of distance viewing of computer for HTPC and whole house audio, room with windows, off-viewing angles, usually viewed under 10-12 ft.
Westinghouse is winning my thoughts, don't care about lock-ups and will tolerate slight banding for less glare, better PC viewing, PQ
Panny8UK/Samsung S5053 were a thought but seem about $500-1000 more minimum.
