Can someone please tell me what product or products I should buy to record HDTV. Can not stay awake long enough to watch the movies that are broadcast on channel 199 on Directv. I do wonder if these movies will still be on once HDNET starts their 16 hours a day broadcast.

Mitsubishi has a new HDTV digital VCR coming out this month or next month. It does need a Firewire IEEE1394 connection to your HDTV which must have an integrated ATSC receiver. Here is a link to the recorder: http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/dvcr.htm

Hi Steve.

There has been several discussions on this subject already. Use the "Search" tool with the two words "HDTV Recording" and search the Hardware and some of the other forums and you'll find lots of information.

Cheers. Don
