Saw on a previous post that someone was able to record only the first 10 mins or so of a program, namely, the Tonight Show and David Letterman. I want to record Leno's monologue then 30 min later, catch Letterman's monologue.

Does anyone know how to do this?

the only current way to record a portion of a program is to use Manual Record, which is a new feature in version 3.0 of the software. 3.0 is being distributed as we speak to all owners of ReplayTV branded units. this upgrade happens automatically during the normal nightly connection. (owners of Panasonic branded units, Showstoppers, have not yet received an upgrade to the latest version of the software.)

I do this with 3.0 Manual Recordings now... If you have a ShowStopper, it will be coming soon...
