I ordered the TimeTrax unit. They billed my card the day I ordered but the e-mail came back saying due to high demand the order will not ship for 4-6 weeks. I hope these guys are legit.

I'd tell them to credit your card back until they have them in stock or dispute the credit card charges. Why should they hold your money for two months?

I ordered the "Time Trax Complete" system on 16 October. I got the possible 4 weeks to ship, but received it in 2 weeks. It is great. Another way that people are reporting being able to get their unit faster is to purchase an XM Direct Radio (this is apparently the hold-up) locally and then order the "Time Trax Connect" It works out to cost the same amount. If you go to Time Trax Support there is a link on the bottom left hand side to take you to their support forum.

Another way to have a somewhat TiVo unit (not recorded to computer) is to wait for the MiFi it is a portable unit that can be used in car, home or as a portable unit. It is capable of recording the 5 latest hours of XM or you can set up two specific record times.

Good luck,

Andrew

I received my TimeTrax unit today. Read the directions and hooked it up and windows starts looking for the driver for the new USB device connected but can not find it. According to the manual you select "automatically install the drivers" but it is a now go for me. Where can I find the TUSB3410 device drivers?

Did you go to Time Trax and download the software for it? You should do this before hooking up the unit. If you did download and install it (and kept the standard settings) the it should be here: C:\\program files\\TimeTrax\\drivers.

a good website to help you trouble shoot it is here .

Good luck

I downloaded the TimeTrax software and installed it before I connected the equipment. The version installed is 2.5. Under the TimeTrax directory I have two subdirectories listed Backup and Documentation. There is no subdirectory listed as Drivers. The drivers are not located anywhere in the TimeTrax directory or subdirectory.
