using windows 7 media center. All of my dvd's are ripped vob. I love the cover art, synopsis, "movies like this one" feature that WMC gives to dvd movies (in the cd drive) but of course it wont do this for the vob files.


I went to dvdxml and downloaded a file, plopped it in the video_ts folder and it works great but is missing the other features "Movies like this one", "reviews", and it will take a while to do this for 600 movies.


does anyone know of a *free* program that will do this automatically for me, AND can give me all the details just like WMC does?

Have you looked into MyMovies? It's free and (I think) it will do all those things you're looking for.
