Need some advice.
Mitsubishi 50 Projection TV, Model - VS-50603
History:
1. TV has worked great for last 10 years
2. Couple of days ago it just died, I saw some liquid come out of a transistor/thyristor/Voltage Regulator (KIA 7805PI 838). On replacing the part with Radio Shack 7805 Voltage Regulator 1 amp, TV started working but
3. Problem: The RED bulb DIES out after a couple of seconds and the GREEN goes down in strength and flickers. BLUE works fine and therefore I can see a blue picture. Audio works fine
I am very handy and therefore can diagnose the problem if given some guidance.
