Red Faction II (Xbox) and 480p

Can anyone confirm whether Red Faction II for Xbox supports 480p or not. I've got a copy of the game but am hesitant to open it because the box doesn't indicate 480p support. Since the games are so regularly mislabeled (Indiana Jones doesn't list 480p but is in fact 480p), I thought I'd ask here.

In case you're curious why I won't open it if it's not 480p ... I've got a Samsung DLP that doesn't have 480i-1080i inputs. My Xbox is connected to one of the 480p-1080i inputs and I refuse to switch cables for 480i Xbox games that have been released this year. I've already got one from last year and am not looking to expand my 480i collection.

Almost all of my games say no 480p support but i have never had one that was not. Maybe game makers realize that 480p is not HD. I have heard that 480p is XBOX standard which explains why all my games are 480p.

There are ways to force progressive output, if you're into that sort of thing:

Red Faction 2 is in 480P. I actually own it and just checked (just beat it also

i agree: 480p is xBox default / minimum requiments.

True, but there are exceptions, unfortunately, so you can't be completely 100% sure unless verified.

I was most suprised when my copy of Kung Fu Chaos would only display in 480i, and this a first party Microsoft game
