We have a Runco CL420 ceiling mounted approx 13.5' from 110" screen. Seating position almost directly below or slightly aft of the pj.


Usual fan noise can be distracting so short of building a hush box (which I may do in the future anyway,) would suspending a ceiling panel or sound deadening panel below the pj deflect enough sound?

Not really. Hush box is really the only viable option (and please make sure there is proper ventilation).
