I've been hanging out on the blu-ray forum for awhile now and they have a thread with Audio Quality of Discs and one for Video. Got me thinking maybe we should have something like that on the 360, Since theres so many catergories I thought one thread might be better then 10 or 20.

Things like games you would want to play to show/try out your sound system/video. Best split screen games etc

This has been tried before. The same problems pop up every time, most notably plain ol' difference of opinion. Games, unlike DVD or BD transfers, have few stable or reliable PQ or AQ standards by which to judge accurately.


The best we can do is what's already been done--list games according to a whole slew of variable traits (AA, resolution, framerate, sound compression quality, and so on). But invariably when we try to agree on standards, the thread quickly turns into just another "name your favorite game" thread.

I love to show off Bioshock because of the visuals (wonderful vibrant blues and greens among others) and the surround sound is one of the best in gaming.

It truly is a beautiful game and the audio is incredibly well done.


I still remember the massive amount of excitement the demo generated when it was put up on Xbox Live. It came out of nowhere and totally blew people (like myself) away.
