this is my first post on here and am looking for a little help. I've been looking at the beta 50 tower speakers and I can get them refurbished for 250 a piece. Just wondering if any of you would feel confident in getting refurbished speakers for half of the price or if i should just suck it up and spend full price to get new?

I wouldn't have concerns purchasing factory refurbished gear, BUT, you should listen to other speakers at the same price point and not let the apparent deal sway you.

I got a pair of factory-refurbed Beta 50s last summer, couldn't find a nick on them. I bought mine direct from Harmon on E-bay, but there are other places.

LOL, like he is somehow getting deceived into buying flakey speakers?


The Beta 50s are like the Honda Accord of speakers; very safe choice!
