Are there any region free Sony DVD players out there? I have a DVP-NS725 atm, but would like a Region Free player. Is there any way to upgrade this unit to region free?


BTW, I would prefer a unit in their silver finish.

The procedure is done by zapping it with a very long code using a special pre-programmed remote control.

Check out www.jvb.nl They have hardware mods for most players for region-free. You send your player to Michigan and they do the mod for about $100-125.
