Looks like it would be very good (as in well made), but not necessarily enjoyable, if you know what I mean.
I will probably try to watch it by myself first, so if it is amazingly depressing at least I won't have to deal with my wife being upset too.

It looks pretty ham handed to me. Not extremely subtle. As in Adam Sandler's portrayal. Yes, we get you are depressed, but do you have to LOOK depressed in a stereotypical kind of way? Things like that.
