Just got my strata III. It was a demo model and did not come with a manual. Question is, the unit comes with a 3 wire cable (bare wires on one end) to be connected to the speaker output terminals of an amp or receicer. If there are 4 speaker output terminals for the front speakers (2 for the left and 2 for the right) how do the 3 bare wires get connected?

No, this is not a riddle.

You have a high level Neutrik input there, not sure how you would wire that up. I owned a Storm and only used the low level straight to my amp..If you are not too sure that might be the best option really.. Otherwise take a look at the Rel site at www.Rel.net I have written to them before and their responses are very quick..:)

Hai,

Indeed a high level Neutrik input, you can use it by wiring it up with your mains (black is - the others left and right). But if you can i would indeed use the one in your receiver.

Its handy when :

in analog mode no bass managent is done.

in a stereo setup, where you don't have a way of spliting the signals, the sub

is then feeded the same signals as the mains and does its thing.

So imho just set your processor at 80hz (or whatever you want) and the sub out

to the strata 3.

Daniel.
