I am connecting my HP Z557 to a Sharp Aquos TV and want to run it at 1280x768. I can run it at this resolution with no problems but when I reboot the computer it always reverts back to 1024x768. I have to manually change it to go back to the resolution I want. Is there a way to make the computer "remember" my preferred resolution?

What version nVidia display driver do you have? I upgraded my z557 to the latest MCE drivers from nVidia's web site .... v72.xx something. My z557 seems to remember its display resolutions just fine, either 480p or 720p depending up what I'm doing.

If its one of the newer Aquos TVs, make sure that you have 1024x768 mode turned off. Also, the 1:1 widescreen resolution on the Aquos TVs via their DVI input is 1368x768, not 1280x768. What model TV do you have?
