I have an old Harmony Remote and I love it. Unfortunately it doesn't work with the PS3 since it doesn't have bluetooth support. Do people think that new versions of remotes will start including this functionality?


Would it be possible for a remote to simultaneously support IR and BT? IR to control receiver volume and TV functions and BT for the PS3

Remotes today simultaneously support IR and RF. Logitech could add Bluetooth support, but afaik the only thing it will support is the PS3.

I dont see why they couldnt make a Remote that does BT and Ir. Heck we are testing a new cell phone here at work, It has BT, Wifi, and GSM built into it. Three different radio transmitters in the phone..and it works like a charm...anyway back to the subject, Im peeved about the No IR Port built into the PS3, you can use the IR pod that comes with the PS2 DVD remote and then program your Harmony, it works. But not very pretty, but it works
