hello everybody i have 2 replay dvrs inthe same room is it possible to control these so only one comes on at a time i was thinking of the htm 700 or 3000 also to operate the rest of my equipment which is a 42 toshiba plasma sa3250 cable box sony 777es dvd changer the new emotiva uls pre/pro and amp. on order thanks charlie

It's certainly possible to control them, but you will need to get some osrt of programmable remote as you can't make the original Replay remotes send out the required signals, and they're not built into any universal remotes.


Take a look at the One For All URC-6131 remote. I have done some special programming for the 6131 that let's you control up to 9 Replays (and a bunch of Tivos) all in one location and all from the PVR button. I can pre-load this programming into a URC-6131 for you if you like the look of it. The remote costs $23 plus $4 shipping.

I interested in getting a all in one remote, but up to this point haven't found one that's good for ReplayTV. I have an old showstopper and the remote keys that get 99% of the use are the channel guide, guide, quick skip, instant replay & jump keys. With your programming can you tell me if all these keys get mapped to the 6131 and if so which keys on the 6131 do each function?

The remote looks good. When you ship it is this functionality already programmed in? Does the remote also support JP1? And lastly I just bought an LG 3410a (an HDTV Replay like box that records OTA HDTV) and was wondering if the 6131 has support for it (the LG has been out for about 6 months). Thanks.
