Odd question... I have a NAD T-765 and am very happy with it. But my wife has an issue with the fact that it sticks out too far in the cabinet that it is in so that the doors won't shut when we are not using it. I have identified the problem as being the volume knob and want to remove it (and ideally replace it with a flat know so that I can still control the volume manually when needed).

Anyone know how to do this without destroying the receiver?
