"replace bulb" message even after replacement (sp7200)

after nearly 4500 hours i decided to retire my infocus screenplay 7200's bulb tonight. it's amazing how used to the gradual dimming my eyes had become - the picture now seems amazingly bright, almost on the verge of being just a little too bright.


but even after resetting the bulb hour clock, whenever i turn the projector on i get the "replace bulb" message for 10 seconds or so. not a big deal since it goes away, but i wonder what is causing this?


PS - i wasn't sure which price range to post this in but i am fairly certain the sp7200 has fallen into this forum's price range.
