Firmware 3.0 ended up ruining my up-to-that-point perfect HD-A2. It would no longer play SD-DVDs and gave me a "No Disc" error message on the occasional HD DVD (even after re-initializing).
Anyway, Toshiba customer service was excellent to deal with and I dropped of my beloved A2 at the local NESA repair centre. I was informed that it would not be repaired, but replaced.
Any Canadians out there that have gone through this? Will I get a new A2, a refurb, or an A3?
Thanks
