I have 2 DVD players which I manually connect to an AE300. When I want to watch "regular" DVDs, I connect up the Toshiba 3750. When I want to watch DVDs from other regions, or if I want to use the Karaoke feature, I hook up the Daiwa 6028.
I would like to replace both players with one, having the following features:
- No region coding restrictions
- Outputs in NTSC or PAL with no conversion (the AE300 can handle either system directly)
- Good picture quality (of all the DVD players that I tested 3 years ago, the Toshiba 3750 had the sharpest picture. The Daiwa by comparison has a noticably inferior picture).
- DD and DTS (Daiwa has no DTS).
- Karaoke (CD-G support).
- Component out.
- Support for VCD, SVCD, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, mp3.
- Progressive.
- Picture-CD support.
Can anyone recommend a unit? Thanks in advance.
